City SC Southwest is the largest youth soccer club in the Valley, offering professional coaching and a higher level of play for players ages 4-19 throughout Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore and Menifee Valley.
The City SC Player Development Program is a progressive development academy where players will receive age-appropriate training and playing opportunities under the direction of dedicated and licensed coaches.
With teams competing locally in the SOCAL league, and nationally in the MLS NEXT(MLS), Girls Academy League (GA), Elite Academy League (EA) and Developmental Player League (DPL), we offer a seamless player pathway that caters to players of all ages, levels and aspirations.
WHAT DO REGISTRATION FEES COVER?
City SC Southwest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are committed to providing high value programming while keeping costs as low as possible for our membership.
The competitive season at City SC is a year-round program. Registration fees cover the costs of professional coaches, US Soccer/Association fees and insurance costs, administrative fees, league fees, equipment, fields/facility usage fees, lights, referees, team training camps, goalkeeper training program, select skills clinics, and college recruitment services and resources. In addition to our coaching staff, we employ a full-time administrative staff to oversee all club operations and provide customer service and support to all our members and teams.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR REGISTRATION FEES?
- Professionally licensed coach
- Standardized curriculum and year round coaching education program for staff
- Year round training program
- SoCal League teams average two training sessions a week for roughly 40 weeks out of the year with scheduled time off dispersed throughout the season (varies by team/age group/level of play)
- MLS NEXT/GA/DPL/EA= 3/4 practices per week
- Pre-Season Scrimmages as organized by coach
- Spring Friendlies/Scrimmages
- 10-12 Fall League Games for SoCal League teams
- GA/MLS NEXT/DPL/EA League Schedules spanning 8-10 months
- Roughly 25+ Games for GA/DPL, 30 Games for MLS Next, 20 Games for EA
- GA/MLS NEXT/DPL/EA have all games filmed with (footage accessible to all players)
- Trainers at all GA/MLS NEXT/DPL/EA home games
- Pre-Season Training Camp
- Select skills clinics and kickarounds
- 1 formal written player evaluation from your coach
- Access to college recruitment resources and full time college liaisons for older players
