City SC is a proud member of the Elite Academy League (EA) and competes in the EA Southwest. The EA is designed to mirror the MLS NEXT league to help prepare aspiring players for the transition to the highest level of youth soccer and to provide opportunities for national level and college exposure. The league is comprised of member clubs primarily from the MLS NEXT Academy as well as other top competitive clubs from around the country.
This is a three-day per week training program that also allows players the flexibility to play high school soccer. Participation in the EA league requires out of state travel for both league play and showcase events.
Program Overview:
- City SC EA age groups are U11-U19
- The season runs from August – June
- Teams train 3 times per week through the duration of the season
- Teams train at Los Alamos Sports Park
- League play runs September-June
- Fall, Winter and Spring Showcase Events
- National Championships in June
- July- OFF
