City SC has a long established tradition of developing elite level players and preparing them to compete at the highest levels in college and beyond. As a member of the Girls Academy (GA), we offer players access to the best coaching, resources and competition in the US.
The GA program offers national level exposure for players and a complete pathway to the college and professional ranks. Players will work with professionally licensed and highly experienced coaches, all games are recorded and analyzed with footage available to players, curriculum includes weekly strength and conditioning in addition to training on the pitch, access to college recruitment services and college liaisons as well as a holistic approach to player development that includes details such as nutritional guidance and physical monitoring for injury prevention. Need based financial assistance is available to help cover program registration fees for players who qualify.
The league also hosts a series of Talent ID events for additional exposure to help players pursue their dreams to play at the collegiate and professional levels. Participation in the GA league requires out of state travel for league play, showcase and playoff events.
Program Overview:
- GA age groups are U13-U19
- The season runs from August – June
- Teams train 3 times per week through the duration of the season
- Teams train at Los Alamos Sports Park
- League play runs September-June
- Winter, Spring, Summer Showcases and Competitions
- Playoffs in June
- National Championships in July
- Talent ID Camp opportunities for selected players
